Paul Dowswell is the author of historical novels for teens and pre-teens. Paul’s books include Powder Monkey, set in Nelson’s Navy, Auslander and Sektion 20, set respectively in Nazi and Communist Berlin, and Eleven Eleven set on the final day of the First World War. Auslander has been shortlisted for over 20 book awards and won the Hamelin Associazione Culturale Book Prize (2011). Sektion 20 won the Historical Association Young Quills Prize (2012).
Paul lives in the UK, is also the author of numerous non-fiction books, and has worked as a senior editor for Usborne Publishing.
